Las Vegas is not just gaming and nightclubs anymore. It has professional sports teams, concerts, shows, five-star restaurants, and endless things to do. We are close to Utah, Arizona, and California for quick getaways and an international airport that can take you anywhere.

Don’t forget about the beautiful scenery—locally, Lake Las Vegas, Henderson, and Summerlin have fabulous views of the strip, sunsets, and mountains. To escape the city, you can explore Lake Mead or Mount Charleston, about 20-40 minutes away. One of my favorites is Zion National Park in Utah, Sedona in Arizona, and, of course, all the Southern California beaches.

Cost of Living and Housing – Affordable properties that are 3 times less than CA prices. Henderson has not increased the property taxes since 1992. Entertainment – endless things to do in Las Vegas with premium shopping, tasting delicious food, going to a Raiders or Vegas Golden Knights game, concerts, shows, other sporting events, and of course gambling.

CA to NV

A large share of mostly younger, middle-aged people are looking to move to Nevada from California to escape the high taxes and high housing costs. Additionally, all kinds of new construction, including master-planned communities, are springing up in Nevada. Comfortably livable and affordable communities are forming within Henderson. In sharp contrast, semi-affordable housing developments are under construction in the middle of nowhere in California.

By living in Nevada you will save on taxes and afford much more for the same money. Nevada dreaming is not limited to individuals though. NV attracts business owners who are buying warehouse space and parking their corporations here for more tax benefits. They moved here because Las Vegas and Henderson offer more affordable places for workers to live. It is also a better state for the company when it comes to taxation. Some new companies that have recently come to town: Are Switch, Aristocrat, Amazon, and Google.
